We are now in April and I still haven’t posted February’s report. In January’s report, another system started to work it’s magic and seemed to have good promises.
The system Collector is an EA tuned specifically for EURCHF pair since it has the least volatility compare to all other majors or crosses. By being the least volatile, the algorithm behind which sets the entry or exit conditions don’t need to be super complex to prevent the chances of getting whipsawed in the market.
This being said, let see how my systems performed throughout the month of February.
The Challenger system did very well, no major hiccups, drawdown or odd delta’s from the analysis charts.
From the same charts, you will notice a spike in behavior on the 2-3 Feb and 27-28 Feb. Looking at the data, the move came from GBP with its PMI report, Money Supply, and Mortgage indices.
On the 27th-28th Feb, my data indicates the move was triggered by EUR based pairs.
Now the newest Collector system has been working wonders. It’s actually an EA which was collecting dust for years even tho I spent days fine tuning-it. In fact, this is the first EA I bought ever since I started Forex. Because this was so long ago, the developers actually sent me the mq4 file which allowed me to easily tweak it. Interestingly enough, these tests were done 2-3 years back on different testing time period and even with today’s market, it’s backtesting and live testing are returning/performing the same results. This is actually gold, it just confirms that the mechanics behind are solid. Maybe I should fine tune it to the next-least volatile pair and put it to work…
As you can see, Collector is based on a different algorithm and trading concept. It is using very basic entry and exit conditions which can easily be replicated manually. Looking at the graphs, you can easily ignore the “extreme” values since we are only measuring the variations between 2 to 4 trades a day, which is quite normal behavior.
I decided it was time to make some real money trading Forex. I’ve been testing systems and developing strategies for too long, I think it’s time I step my game up. I now introduce you to my newest and impossible challenge, turning 200$ to $1M within 3 years, starting now.

Now I have to catch up on the next monthly(March) performance review.
